Many heart felt thanks to the crew that came out Friday, March 13th who successfully rescued the deer that fell through the ice. Volunteers from the Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre attended the scene as well and after many hours of drying in the sunshine and resting, the deer bounded off into higher ground.
