Great little old school general store. With great kitchen stuff, hardware and one of the only places in town to get marine supplies.
Went there today just to look around as I have always found it an interesting place to shop. After purchasing an item, the lady took my payment then dismissed me - but I didn't move away from the counter. She said, well it appears you are waiting for a bag for your item, and I said, yes I am. She was quite obviously bothered by this and I must say her arrogant attitude is what prompted this review. Nasty people shouldn't work in customer service jobs. It's that simple. Will think twice before returning to this place of business.

They don't deserve a star. I have been going to the store on and off for the past couple of years because it's convenient but, the female staff at the front are extremely cold. I find that they are not open to having a diverse client base. Whenever I'm at the store, I observe every 'caucasian ' customer being greeted with a 'hi' and a lot of pleasant words, both on entry and when they are paying for their stuff. But, whenever I interact with any of the female staff members I'm met with a cold stare and condescending attitude. As a 'black' customer it is extremely disheartening to see this sort of preference based treatment going on. I'm taking my business to Canadian Tire.
