This store sells outdoor closing as well as camping/hiking /kayaking/canoeing gear and equipment. Most merchandise is good quality, but incredibly expensive. It makes outdoor sports a real luxury. A lot of the gadgets sold here are not really useful and could very well be replaced by cheaper options.The staff is not overly friendly or motivated.
I recently purchased work boots here and was thoroughly impressed with the salesmans knowledge of the product and willingness to go the extra mile to make the customer happy. Great help and selection of outdoor products. Very knowledgeable staff. Not quite the selection of or background of MEC but easily fills the niche for smaller towns outdoor supply store.
