The service was good. The rooms are run down (carpets stained, smell like they used to be smoking rooms). Good location. I wouldn't stay here again.
The location is fantastic, close to the water and all the little shops and restaurants. Staff was nice and helpful. The hotel room itself could use some updating refreshing. My bathroom didn't smell too fresh. But got a decent night sleep. Cost of parking was a a bit steep but that is expected from busy hotel in a prime location.
We were delighted to have a pet family room on the ground floor with patio doors opening onto a patio with two chairs, a grassy lawn, the dock and water. The service was always helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was a happy surprise - they offered veggie scrambled eggs (real eggs), and fresh cut fruit, plus fresh fruit medleys, as much, much more.
Really nice hotel right on the water. Perfect location for walking downtown. Close to all restaurants and shopping. Our room was clean, the pool was nice. Also had a hot tub and sauna. The parking was ideal and cheap. They also have a restaurant/bar inside. We did not get to try but it looked really good. We will return.
Ive been staying at this hotel for close to 20 plus years now. I wouldnt want to stay anywhere else. Employees are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. The pool area is nice and the food/bar even better. Will be there again tomorrow.
