Would stay again! It's nothing fancy but the staff were so friendly, accommodating and sweet. It was late when we arrived but they were so cheery it was very refreshing! Prices were reasonable and included breakfast (although we slept through it)! Thank you for the great stay! :)
Lovely & clean. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice. Great hosts, very helpful. About 30 mins to 1 hour walk down to the waterfront. Plenty of number 4 or 501 buses going that way . You do need 3 dollars each person in change to get the bus.
Friendly staff and decent place to stay. Beds are not that comfortable. If you take a room in first floor and you are a non-smoker then you might end up having problems with the smell from outside smoking. Did not like the breakfast choices for 2 reasons - Frozen food purchased from stores is used here. No fruit choices apart from Watermelon and it gets boring if you stay for more than 2 or 3 days. Not a big fan of frozen food and definitely not for breakfast
Stayed there one night. Will never stay again. I stayed there many many times when it was the Comfort Inn. I'm a salesman on the road and stay mainly at Comfort Inns.The standards were top notch. I can honestly say that the hotel has dropped its standards to a very low level. The carpet in my room was so filthy. Little flies every where in the room. Nail polish stains on the bathroom floor, dirty bathroom, crumbs all on the desk and chair. The breakfast was equally bad. Dried out sausage, scrambled eggs were not scrambled at all. Big chunks of dry yellow goop. Dirty tables. Sad to see a decline at this place.
Tom, Lloyd, and Suzy run a nice motel at great prices. For that, you get everything you need plus friendly helpful care from this lovely trio. We even commented that we noticed them doing their own laundry on-site in a room as we pulled up. The sheets were in fact very clean and the beds/pillows very comfortable. We certainly recommend it and will stay there again. E
