Just checked in to Travelodge by Wyndham Kingston The front desk said they had no reservation under my name nor credit card. The woman asked me rudely and repeatedly to spell my name and to read to her my. Confirmation number.. They made a mistake with my name upon reservation. No apologies and felt unwelcome. This being the last room available for tonight, we knew and the hotel was told, we would need. The pull out couch . Filthy mattress, no pillows nor sheets. Front desk said they'd send some. We were expected to make our own bed. Housekeeping blamed us for not telling, whilst. They were told twice We've stayed in lots of hotels, never one with this nasty attitude all within 10 minutes This hotel needs to educate their staff in dealing with their guests. To be avoided
Good motel style hotel with large rooms. Our bathroom vanity was granite but the front of it could use a little paint (room 105). Regardless, the room was clean and comfortable with good A/C. The indoor pool was nice and warm and the hot tub was the perfect place to relax. The restaurant is not to be missed as it is a Kingston favourite for breakfast and dinner.
The room was very clean and comfortable. We liked the hotels amenities, nice indoor pool and spa that was warm. Very central to the city of Kingston, would stay again. Cavalier Lounge has lost it's edge for good food though.
The restaurant is amazing, been going there since I was a small child. They have a casual dinning room and a more formal dining room beautiful place
I don't know how people are rating this more than 1 star. That one star I'm giving it is for the nice gentleman at the desk who checked us in. The rooms smelt so bad, sweaty, almost like a gym bag. The beds were the worst part. It was like cardboard but the worst part about it was that the sheets were not previously changed. How do you not change sheets between guests? Now, I know they were not changed because upon getting into bed, I felt something hard and crusty in the middle of the bed. I shine my light on it and it was some sort of bodily fluid I don't even want to think about... The bathroom had stuff in the garbage can, the bath tub had a centipede in it. Oh my god it was just terrible. So dirty, we barely slept and left as early as possible the next day.
